A calm, inclusive space where clients do not need to hide, minimise or explain away parts of themselves.
Counselling is presented as a process of understanding, integration and becoming - not fixing someone who is broken.
What counselling is
Counselling is a confidential, collaborative conversation that gives you time to understand your experiences, feelings, relationships and choices. It can be helpful when something specific has happened, when difficulties have built over time, or when you want to know yourself more fully.
How sessions work
Sessions usually last 50 minutes and take place weekly or at an agreed frequency. We can meet online, in person or both. Initial we will discuss what has brought you to counselling, what you hope for and any questions or concerns you may have.
The first conversation
An initial 10 to 15 minute free conversation gives us an opportunity to meet, talk briefly about what you are looking for and consider whether working together feels right. There is no pressure to commit before you have had the chance to ask questions.
